I have to be honest, being from Gen X, I never really got into social media. Maybe I was already too old when it really took off. When someone says to me ‘I read the “news” on Facebook’, I always roll my eyes. Facebook isn’t news!

On the other hand, YouTube is playing constantly in our home and has been a primary source of information for many years. In fact I’ve enjoyed watching the quality of content improve, year after year. Sure, YouTube has their own de-platforming issues and trolls, but like Medium, quality generally wins out over click-bait.
